Question Help with inherited tortoise

Hi, this is Willy who I've just inherited but have no idea what breed he is. Anyone know?

If it is possible to post picture of his underside I feel sure all.will become clear.

If there is a spur on the tail then its a hermans.
But as Terry says a better picture of the tail end underneath to be sure.

Some better pictures would help, specially of the tail and underside, but my guess is a lovely very old Herman ( Eastern ) THB

beautiful tortoise, looks very old. I would say graeca spur but as others said more photos and can tell. the spurs are on the legs if she is a graeca, either side of tail - very obvious. CB

Unfortunately he has hibernated so can't get more pics, I'm worried that it's too early for him to hibernate from what I've read ?!?

If he is outside you won't wake him if you do it first thing in the morning when it's still cold we need a picture of his tail end.

Its not too early:0)
Two of mine have gone down three to go:0)
How is he hibernating?
