yeah I had a quick look at their website (as we where heading into Fife today, but it was a bit further than we were planning today! also we were taking the dog with us!)

That is a female Sulcata, Centrochelys sulcata, on the right.

...but Geochelone sulcata is still the accepted common specific name. ...and how did you come to the conclusion it is a female?
