They are very cute. Dont want to sound all doom and gloom, but be careful if you do breed them. I think they are good breeders and have a good size clutch. Rescues are full of Beardies. I saw someone giving away 70+ babies as they could not find any homes for them.

I was reading earlier elsewhere about two females that apparently were living happily together until suddenly one day one suddenly "turned" on the other. They cause terrible injuries to one another and can even kill one another. There seems to be a lot of problems with dominance and bullying and it would appear that it is really recommended that they live alone. Is the substrate sand? Kitchen roll is recommended particularly for youngsters. This is an interesting article regarding breeding, albeit from 2009: http://www.hadesdragons.co.uk/breeding-costs-bd.html |

In the shop that we got them from the younger ones are on kitchen towel but not ready for sale and these ones are slightly older. We have them on calcium sand incase they do ingest any so it isnt harmful. They are too young to sex, we have been shown how to and if we are unsure can take them back to the shop for them to sex them or i will put pics on here. My mum is housebound so is with them all day, if they were to fight i would split them up straight away, i wouldnt risk it, so far they have been fine, both getting fair share of food etc, found them both asleep this morning not too far apart and no sign of fighting in the night, they are great as for breeding if it happens it happens, i understand what you have said and i will take it on board, should we start getting too many babies i would of course split them to stop them from breeding and would never get rid of the babies to people who wouldnt look after them x

Baby beardies cost a lot to raise to the age where they can be sold. There is no profit in them at all.
Calci sand is not good for them. It causes impaction as they eat it when catching food. When they are babies they are not as good at catching their food and take in some of the substrait if it is loose like sand. When they reach a year old childrens play sand can be used but most people use floor tiles.
