Hello and good luck with the little one . I would say though they do not do well in glass especially web so small so try make a table as soon as u can or a rabbit cage like the indoor ones from pets at home would be better than glass . Deeper sub so she / he can burry down to sleep in other than this I hope it all goes well

Really i would want to have the correct housing ready before i got the lil one. Viv aint good for them and if for some reason u take longer than planned the lil one could end up being in this longer than u think. Things can happen and we end up aving to change our plans.

It is fairly open topped so air can circulate while she is in there, I am going to do table as soon as I can as thats what I want anyway.

For baby torts I'd say 2 inches of substrate is enough IMO. I have 2 year olds and only have 4-5 inches for them at the moment. Looks a good setup though

I guess if you do find she is climbing the front of the glass and it looks like she is trying to get out the you could tape up the bottom few inches so she can't see out, I've never had a problem with torts getting stressed in vivs when I use them but I know some do get stressed by the glass.
