Chinese Box Turtle 09- Hatchling
Yellow Margined Box Turtle (Cuora flavomarginata), the first of this years hatchlings emerged from it's shell yesterday. |

Having settled in well, the little Chinese Box Turtle is now eating daily. Its favourite food, are nice Earthworms dug up from the garden. These are nicely packed with protein and lots of valuable minerals, including Calcium, from our chalky loam:
