Default Smudge

Well after a really rubbish couple of years loosing my Dad Mother in law all of the stuff I went through in hospitals we then had to have one of the dogs put to sleep.

So what could be a better way of trying to cheer yourself up than cleaning up after a puppy that seems to just love rolling in runny Burmese brown poo.

So meet the latest addition to the household

SMUDGE.......

Aww, Smudge is just gorgeous! He's (or she?) going to give you the runaround for sure!

Smudge is a female jack Russell. She is an active little thing who loves to play with the ball on the swingball chew up lumps of dead grass and play in the long grass I leave around the fence line.

At night she as a temporary thing as I don't like them sleeps in the lounge in a dog crate and she doesn't make a sound all night.
Our other JR is a grumpy thing but is getting better with smudge so when all is good hopefully they will then both sleep together well thats plan A.

She has been in with all my outdoor torts and thinks they are very odd and loves to sit and watch them. She has even been in with the quail which again went ok until one pecked her so she wanted out and won't go back in.

As you can see in the picture she is fascinated with one of my young male Burmese browns even though he wasn't bothered with her.

Aw, isn't she just the cutest little thing? My daughter has a "herd" of Jack Russells. A couple of them are real hairy, like Smudge, and the rest are smooth coated.

The one she replaced was smooth coated.
Smudge was my second choice of dog my first was going to be an Irish wolfhound but I had to compromise due to how was it going to fit through the dog flap.
So as I have always had jack Russells thats what it was going to be.
She was not my first choice the first one was a smooth coated brown and white one but I pulled out of the sale as alarm bells were ringing so I looked again and as soon as I saw smudge I knew she was the one.

she is gorgeous Gordon, a puppy always gives new lease of life ! I've had jack russells and they are so full of character and the loyalist little muts - terriers, tera firma. the little yorkie i inherited is proving himself just as characterful though. Glad you got another doggy keeps you young ! CB
