politicians will say you never say in public what you say in private.. Like jan never signed up never had an interest in who is doing what where and to whom, for whom. round robin letters at Christmas, or now Easter are a pet hate and for the record they go into the bin ! And I tell friends that which surprises me I have any left. what ever happened to penned letters, chat on the phone and a meet up.all twaddle chip paper and don't get me started on celebrities and twitter, and selfies of them all...

Facebook can be used for some great positive reasons but it is tricky to see beyond the targeted bullying that goes off all the time. I work in a school, so not on Facebook, basically to keep myself safe, but it is very worrying to hear about all the negative, vile, untrue comments parents can make about school staff with no chance to address the troublemakers. my nieces and nephews can't have a conversation without a phone strapped to their ear or within eyesight. I travelled round the world without a phone, I met people who hadn't even seen a white person (yes they screamed), let alone a mobile phone or facebook. Don't miss what you never had. CB
