Some pyramiding? Looks like the poor tortoise has the Egyptian Pyramids on his back.

Might be nice to see some of the tortoises you've raised to provide an example of a properly raised tortoise.
Especially in AK.

He does look quite pyramided if he had been raised properly he should be a lot smoother, I have tortoises raised in captivity that are smooth so it's possible to do. Even in captivity now their is no excuse for an animal to look like this good information is out there if you take the trouble to find it!!

Bev's torts are gorgeous, I can vouch for her smooth ones I had never seen a smooth tort before I went to visit Bev last year. She really is an amazing keeper
