Are they better than a space in the window.....sorry may seem like a daft question but I'm no good at gardening!

I've had a couple of these - although yours appears to be indoors. I found that as the cover fitted so tightly over the frame that fairly soon after buying it split by the zip (as I used to unzip/zip it and roll it up/down) in several places. I stapled it back together and then left it rolled up all the time. Eventually I bought a new cover but this melted in the sun to the frame, so I binned that. I am now using the frame to keep the trays of tortoise seeds on as I've got some large seed trays and the wire shelves are used as "lid" for the outdoor turtle tubs!
Seeds will grow by the window but you will need to keep turning the pots as they try to reach towards the light and become all leggy. Can you grow them outside at all? |

I too have one of these. I brought it after getting sick of local cats using my seed trays as litter trays! Mine has been good but to be honest with it being so hot I have had the door rolled up mostly.
I paid £12 for mine from Wilkinsons & they sell spare covers but think theyre about £10 in B & M Bargains & noticed they even sell a double size one with shelves on both sides & you can walk in it for £19.99 - real bargain. |

I have one of those. From Wilkinson. I am so happy I bought it. Now thinking of getting the walk in greenhouse from Argos and the 3 tier rack from there as well. It is very handy. The cover is a bit flimsy I dont know how long it will last, but then it is cheap.
