yeah I had a quick look at their website (as we where heading into Fife today, but it was a bit further than we were planning today! also we were taking the dog with us!)

That is a female Sulcata, Centrochelys sulcata, on the right.

You never cease to amaze me.

...but Geochelone sulcata is still the accepted common specific name.

...and how did you come to the conclusion it is a female?

What has happened to the sullys shell? It looks all pressed down at the back

I'm just curious... How many sulcatas have you or anyone you know have raised.

Danny, is it normal formation of the shell where the tail area is? it looks like there is no space for a tail between the carapace and plastron.

Yes, it looks like in a side view it would slope front to back quite a bit

I just think it looks a little sloped down... sorry shouldnt I be saying that?

No I havent raised any

I take it from your comment that this is quite normal for a sully then? You tell me Ed........ as I have no idea..... I was merely stating it has a sloping down shell or whatever I said. Jeez.
