Julia many congratulations. The pictures are amazing. I like the one that is bottom first! Perhaps I have got that wrong.

I couldn't help but feel a little sad about the small twin. Well done to you and Gordon though.

How many more to come.

Hi Jan, I always seem to get a few that like to turn around in the egg whilst hatching and come out bottom first! lol don't they look cute, bottom first!
I had my suspicions that it had died as when candling I could see it wasn't as big as the other one.
I suppose I'm lucky to have one live hatchling, so I'll count my blessings.

That's it for this year, no more eggs left to hatch.

How wonderful Julia, congratulations.
I havent hatched a single egg this year (family llness) & looked after 13 babies for a friend, I was very broody & reluctant to give them back!

I had twins a few years ago. Just like yours, one had died early on. I didnt even spot it! The survivors egg sac unravelled like a turban which I put down to catching on the sharp egg shell ! I had to tie it off & she remained bent up for a while, but she has straightened out & growing nicely now

how absolutely gorgeous. thank you so much for the photographs it was very moving to read through and look at them. I had a tear in the 'ol eye but its so fantastic that you have some very beautiful hatchlings ! CB
