Shellys indoor enclosure
So after joining the forum and learning a little i build a tortouis table and thought i would share my photo.feedback is more then welcome into making it a bit more decrotive and if there is any thing wrong with it.

It looks good
A lot of people use Yacht varnish to paint the table. The UV strip looks like its at a good height, the basking lamp needs to be at a height that gives 35c under it. P.S Porky is looking a little under the weather

Ahahaha, love the pig all looks good, just make sure with you using that kind of wood it does the heat lamp doesnt make the would to warm and catch fire, just touch the wood after the lights been on for a few hours and you should be able to tell...
what you would do is paint the outside and add a vivarium background to the inside to make it look good.. their only about £3 on ebay

ok thanks all.i have a digi ther coming this week so should get a correct reading for basking light height.and also look into getting some paint for outside.
the reason why the pig looks a bit worse for ware is that shelly like humping it.can someone tell me why he does this.he is at it everyday for as long as he can. thanks for advice all. |
