Holes!
Wishing had remembered to drill holes in guinea pig cage used for outdoor enclosure.
I thought it would be ok as kept it well covered or so I thought but with recent rain it has turned into a mud slurry. Nightmare to get rid of the mud - very heavy and slimy. Now clean and clear and NOT being refilled until get some holes drilled in the base. Me "please Mr neighbour can I borrow a drill?" Him " Why?" Me " To drill holes in my tortoise cage to stop it getting waterlogged" Him "" Tort is fine - has been inside as weather so bad. |

Weather has been awful down in Bristol as well Lynn. Last few days poor Lily hasnt been much active at all. Yesterday the weather was windy and rainy. The light quality was really poor so I had to let him be in his table where at least he had the heat, good UV and light. Monday wasnt much better...
Today is better......so gonna try and get him outside later when I get home. Trouble is..recently its sods law. Soon as I plan to ...the weather then turns rubbish and its all in vain. Times like this that I really feel like a rubbish owner.... Last edited by yuna1971; 11-08-2010 at 12:28 PM. |

Hi, mine have still been active here in Telford, they are kept outside but they have heat and light just in case (thankfully). Although they still choose to come outside when it has been raining.
