Default Can anybody recommend any good Tortoise books?

Afternoon all,

Out of interest, I've just had a quick search on the Waterstones website to see if there are many Tortoise care manuals on sale. I was pleasantly surprised at how many there are actually are but can any of you recommend one in particular?

I know there's lots of conflicting information regarding Tortoise care so i wondered if there are any that should be definately avoided.

I've sourced the most useful advice/info through this forum and am happy to continue doing that but it would be nice to have a book just for reference really. Plus i'm really interested in learning more about all breeds of Tortoises.

Does look a mighty good read though. I think that one will be on the list...

And thanks for your recommendation too Anna. That looks brilliant also.

Ed's book is a good one, and he does have a new one as well I think the new one is aimed for Leopard keepers.

There is always the Carapace Press website

http://www.vidi-herp.com/index.html?...tml&lang=en-us

TT recommended books, as well as those written by Andy Highfield

Links on the left hand side to DVD's as well
