Poor Snake
My sister bought a Royal/Ball Python,I think last Friday?
Anyway her previous "Owners" hadn't looked after her properly. They used an 8Watt Energy Bulb for heat and an Unstatted Heatmat. Well she has some really deep burns on her underside which the vet has told my sister to bathe twice a day in Salt water. She's going back with her today to get some cream (I think he had to order some) She is so friendly even after her bad start in life and didn't even try to bite the vet when he touched her burns or even try and bite my sister while she was giving her a bath. She's underweight too. She's about 3 ft long and only weighs 460g. Even though i'm terrfied of Snakes i'm really glad we've got her! Will post some pictures of Wendigo Later.......I wanted my sister to Name her Barbra Strikeshand lol |

She looks in very good condition considering her bad start! But yes I agree with a bit of feeding up

She's lush!
She'll be fine after a bit of tlc If you want to help heal the burns up, put some aloe Vera gel on them and wrap loosely with a bandage...I hope they heal up ok Have you been brave enough to hold her or anything yet? |

Good that you got her now, good luck helping her to get better, I am sure she will thrive in no time. Wishing her to make good recovery.

Oh dear. There are a lot of people who sell snakes that are in a bad way.
Glad she is with you

I am pleased you are feeling better about the snake (I read your thread on RFUK) You are very brave and the snake is beautiful! Hope she gets better soon. x
