Fraid Urior sounds too much like Urine to me and he will get the p*** taken out of him There are loads of sites with unusual names arent there. I always found when I wasnt choosing for my own it was easy, but soon as you get pregnant you cant find one you like enough

hi you could always have the more unusual names as middle names...you have to remember that the child will one day attend nursery and school and be expected to be able to recognise and then spell their own name.I always think that the bens or anns have an easy ride while the children with more complicated names suffer...just a thought .. good luck with choosing!

my daughter for some unknown reasoning decided that names beginning with the letter D were popular, a bit like namimg a pack of hounds , she's called Debra, married a Dene and the 1st daughter was called Daryl ( whom every one thought was a boy) the 2nd one Derri ( after a tub of butter ) Debra has a brother called David and when she split up with her husband Dene promptly went out with a Dave, confusing or what

HaHa, sounds a bit like us, obviously my name is Toni, not short for anything and an unusual name for a girl, so I carried on the tradition in a small way, my girls are Ashleigh and Sam although Ashleigh is spelled the girls way and Sam is actually Samantha!!! both went down well with the mother in law

i do like traditional names for boys though, if I had a boy it would have been William Michael James, after my grandad and our 2 dads

very good but would you want to be a Gonville or Horatio, whats your real name anyway , my grandaughters have always had I suppose you could say problems with their names for one thing you can't buy gifts with them on, at least Daryl has grown into a very pretty 14year old who no one could mistake for a boy but when she was younger people always used to say " Oh she had a little boy " I think dene liked Daryl Hannah at the time .
