When microchipping a tort in order to obtain an Art 10 is it just a normal microchip, it's not special kind or anything is it?

Oh flippin heck - I've just found all of Beyonce's paperwork - where she was originally purchased from, the previous owner's list of weights and notes, loads of info from the pet-shop from where she waas bought, all stuff I'm hoping Defra will take into account when considering whether or not to give me a SSC for her.

Now now I can't bloody well find Mr Betty's Article 10

Why am I such an air head

Alan is absolutely correct, only necessary if you wish to sell or breed from.

Some keepers choose to do it however for security purposes

It must hurt them having a microchip. When my dog had one it really hurt her and she had lots of loose fat.
