Had a quick search on sainsburys, and they had this

Sainsbury's Chicory 180g £0.99



If you planted this, or put it in water, would it grow like dan's. or am i being really stupid here

Belgian Endive im not very good with groceries, is that similar to chicory then? any good for torts?

It is in the same family as chicory, as well as curly endive and escarole. It's fine to feed to tortoises, but as it is now ( no chlorophyll ) it isn't very nutritious.
