Sorry for the delay. I got a reply re the flowers and I was right that both wallflowers and forsythia should be avoided. not suer where the info came from but maybe their list needs to be amended also.
Below is the reply to my query.

No probs. Yes, Forsythia contains a glycoside. Digitalis is a glycoside,
so one to avoid! You are right about Wallflowers. They are mustards and
mustards are members of the Brassica family. But Wallflowers also
contain a glycoside, which like digitalis can stimulate the heart in
minute doses but is toxic in larger doses. So another one to avoid!

Yes they are. same family as pansies and violas. I use them in my enclousures

Yes wallflowers do appear on the tortoise house list, which has recently been updated by Martin Dann. Sue was it Martin who replyed?
