Weighed torts after 3 week windown unsure about one of torts
Hi
I have weighed my torts as 2 out of the 6 are going down for hibernation this weekend and the rest to follow next weeknd. I am a little concerned as one of them seems very light for hibernation have alook a the weights as give me your thoughts please. Holmes 21 months old weighs 0.076 he has lost 15 gramms in 3 weeks. Due for hibentaion tomorrow Moriaty 21 months old weighs 0.072 he has also lost 15 gramms in 3 weeks. Due for hibernation tomorrow Lestradt nearly 5 weighs 0.399 and has lost 49 gramms in 3 weeks I am a little concerned about him Watson 7 weighs 0.862 and has lost 50 gramms in the 3 week windown Mrs H 50+ weighs 1.654 and has gained 32 gramms Bodica 7 weighs 0.777 and has lost 3 gramms So what do you think guys?

The weight the tortoises are is more important than how much they have lost. As if not being
fed they will lose weight.

Agreed but what I am asking is at the weight they are now is that suitable for hibernation?

Dazza came around and checked on torts, all are going for hibernation, the 2 youngest tomorrow then the other 4 next weekend , he has certainly put my mind at rest, its great having him live so near, and he has a lovley family as well
