You definitely 100% have a Testudo hermanni boetgerri...and quite a beautiful one too! It is also 100% a female.

I'm glad they made my post a sticky to help others out, I'm working on a new diagram using some of my specimens that are a little harder to identify due to either age or locality.


This is a breeding pair of T.H.B.

LOL shows how much i need to learn about torts, just from the pic before i started reading i would have said she looks like my eddie; Testudo Graeca ibera

You can easily tell the difference by lookig at the area around the tail. As you may be able to see this tortoise has a horny tip to its tail and no thigh spurs making it a hermanns, if it was a spur it would have spur thighs.
