Default 5th hinge pipped.

The fifth pipped tonight, 4 fully out and doing well. We were going to partition the viv off but didn't initially and they all seem to be doing great. Eating Nutrazu well and quite active. Most active in the evening like the adults. Anyway we'll see how it goes and any sign of stress and we will seperate. I'll get new pics up tomorrow.

I'm afraid you won't see the signs of stress Mick. In the article by Bernd he tried to save ones that had become stressed from living together and it didn't work as they died anyway. He recommends at the end of the article that anyone should raise Kinixys alone. He did the experiments and got the results, don't see any need to redo his experiments.

Yeah your right, it's not worth the risk. I'll seperate them tomorrow so. Good they're eating the Nutrazu though, should help grow them on nicely. Still debating about what to give for protein, I heard mini meal worms work but I'd have to gut load as the shop bought ones are raised on dust. It'll be very little at this stage anyway so would end up with a tub of Beatles. Might go digging for tiny worms and see will they bite.
