Not sure if I would buy a combined bulb from ebay. That is just me.....as you read lots of horror stories on fakes. And I wouldnt know the difference.... However, I expect some are very legitimate.
But....I would rather pay from a proper retailer than ebay. Again, just my OWN opinion. xx To me, its not worth my torts health. I'll admit the price is right...as Brucie says, though. xxx |

Thats just the point I was making, Al. With that, I would know where its come from, I know they are a reputable online retailer.
I dont know if the one bought on ebay (excluding Sarahs Shop) is some duff rubbish from China with a fake Arcadia label. But...this seller could be totally fine. Might be completely legit... But how often do we read reports of things not as they seem and just really really good fakes.... I would always be worrying if it was a genuine Arcadia bulb. But that is just me... xx And as I would have these thoughts, I wouldnt buy my lights from ebay. |

the Ebay one above is registered as a business seller, it could be someone who has a pet shop and sells equipment online too. I know a garden centre who does this

Maybe so, Al . But I still wouldnt. Could be someone with false ID, sending money to Nigeria and stuff like that. Search on google, see what I mean. You read about these sorts of things...I am very cautious. I just wouldnt chance my lights from ebay.
And I do buy and sell from there. I have over 260feedback. Just wouldnt buy my torts lights from there. xxx I dont doubt there are excellent sellers, shops, registered business sellers (SW included) but also by the same token, many dodgy ones too. |

I wouldn't either I must admit, unless I'd had knowledge of other having done so and used the bulbs long term perhaps

I've been informed that the 100w is due out very soon and has been approved by the UV experts
