Default import/export of seeds?

First of all I want to thank you for a great site. I was wondering how you deal with exporting seed mixes and herbs to countries like Norway. Do you enclose a blanket with the declaration of the seed names and such, or do you have another arrangement? Getting herb mixes etc. Is pretty hard over in the cold north

Every country has its own import restrictions and many ban the import of plant material and seeds. This is to protect their own wild life from disease.

Yes, you should be specific on the customs label when exporting such material.

You should also make it clear to the purchaser that they are responsible for checking their own country's import restrictions, not you, and that you can take no responsibility for packages confiscated by border customs officials.

I'm surprised that I haven't come across any seeds in the Pre Alpin, you'd think there would be seeds in there otherwise how do they remove them
