there is no such thing as a dwarf Hermann,i think that the testudo hermanni hermanni is the smallest of hermanns tortoise with an average carapace length of 165mm in males and 190mm in females although i don't keep them so could be wrong

I have 2 T hermanni Hermanni, they only hibernate for 4 to 6 weeks, so the breeder told me.

There technically is no "dwarf hermann's tortoise". Sometimes the western subspecies T. h. hermanni is referred to as a dwarf but they can and do attain large dimensions like T. h. boettgeri depending on what locality they originate from. If the tortoises derive from places such as Puglia, they may be very small. In either case, they can be subjected to a hibernation period of 4 to 6 weeks and sometimes even more. The length of the actual hibernation period can also be determined by where they originate from. Animals from warmer climates experience a shorter hibernation period.
