Oooh i have two with the tail to the side, ive been informed that they are female, i was told by the pet shop that the males tail points straight out..

My adult male carries his tail to the side. I think that's normal.

No, the male carries his to the side, unless mating!
Adult females carry them straight down most of the time.
If they carried them to the side, the male would not be able to mate!
This usually means, she is not wanting to be receptive to the male!
