back again!
i am concerned that my tortoise is underweight when i have read about the size of some of the other leopards on this forum. his shell measures underneith (head to tail) 18.5cm, underneith again(side to side) 12cm, and over the top (head to tail, althought his scutes are quite high) 32cm. his weight is 2lb 14oz.
what does anyone think?
my brother has a male from the same batch that is nearly exactly the same size but his is 2lb 4 oz.
thanks
sarah

sorry i did mean the plastron lenght i was just tryin to explain what way i was goin if you get that!
i have had him a couple of years now and when i got him i was told to feed him bags of salad and frozen veg. he does still have some veg but mostly grass and he loves dandelion leaves. i was also told to feed him brocoli and cauliflower leaves as there high in fibre is this true?
