Wanted, Tortoise

Hi
I am new to this forum, am trying to get my first Tortoise, is there anyone in Exeter or nearby that may have one for sale or re-homing?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

There are some breeders in the area. I know there's a lady in Kingsteignton that sells spur-thighs, but unfortunately I don't know her name. However I believe she often advertises in Mole Valley Farmers, so it could be worth giving them a call or popping in to see if her notice is up on their board.
Failing that, if you're prepared to travel I can recommend HelsBels in Southampton. Also it could be worth contacting Alley Cat in Somerset or Gordon, who has lots of lovely hatchlings for sale.
Were you after a hatchling or an older tortoise? It all depends on what tortoise you're interested in. It's good to do plenty of research first on tortoise husbandry. You'll find plenty of information on this forum and feel free to ask questions. There's always someone happy to offer advice.

Hi Wagner's, if you are interested in a horsfield baby then I have some available, I am not far from you just on the border of Devon and Somerset only about half an hour in the car from Exeter.

You're welcome Wayne. I'd recommend doing a bit of research to decide what tortoise you'd like and then go from there. All the breeders I mentioned are reputable and will offer further advice if you need it following purchase. Good luck!!

I have been doing plenty of research on the internet and have joined lots of groups on facebook.
Cant wait to get one, been looking around and pricing up all the bits I neeg.
