true true... these cats constantly leave their lovely little presents EVERYWHERE!! however I've bought prikka strips which are legal spikes (plastic spikes) to stop cats getting in so HOPEFULLY they will work

Its also illegal to rob and break into law abiding peoples gardens and houses,so if it stops 1 person i really couldnt care, also my pets mean everything to me and i will protect them as i see fit,if you dont touch the grippers you wont be hurt!!!!!!!!!!

I have a dog which ids a good deterent, i dont think cats would bother torts to be honest, they only like fast moving warm blooded creatures to chase, its all in the hunting instink, iv owned a cat in the past with a tortoise and he just sat there and watched it, didnt bother with it at all. You could try very sticky tape on the fence, the cats wont like that lol x

Cats like to sit on top of our tort hutch so I wonder if I could put some plastic spikes on that since its in my garden and not on the border fence. They are a pest! I'm fairly sure my neighbours would be peeved if my German shepherd left a nice big Turd in their garden! I can't stand cat poo

I did see online somewhere some plastic cat deterent spikes that were very cheap and legal they moved when cat stood on them which is what deters them

If one of those not so law abiding people try and climb your fence and get hurt they can sue you for injuries caused.

I'm just the messenger, put your guns away.

If one of your dogs was in the woods and got caught it a trap you wouldn't be very happy. Traps were banned many years ago so it isn't likely to happen, so your dogs are safe. Why should cats not get the same privilege and be safe to leave their house without getting injured?

I have 4 cats and they have never been a problem with the torts, 3 of them just ignore them and the other 1 likes to sit and watch them and laze around in their enclosure, however mine are too big to pick up or eat!
