I personally don't think it's a problem
I may be wrong but maybe the seller is wanting to sell them as a pair to save the troble of finding two buyers? Tortoises are supposed to be solidarity animals, even tho I have more than one My bowser seems content on his own as does Darwin and Amber They all live on their own Sometimes I wonder wether I should seperate hector and George as hector can be a bit bossy! These are just my opinions! Linz

As the torts are going to good homes I dont think that this will be a problem.Much better for them than going to an unhappy home with owners who dont care and are out to make money,or may not notice if the female is stressed by continous attention from a male

lol, i am not blaming anyone, just asking the question that most would be too polite to ask
i like a healthy debate and as i said i can see both sides yes i could justify spliting them up, but i could also be angry if i was the owner but as i dont know either the owner or dugy, i would find it hard to judge |

i see exactly where you ar ecoming from linda, i too would maybe question the goings on..
i know deep down that what i'm doing isn't the most polite thing but i'm trying to forget that bit... i'm no good at debates, as i discovered at college last week.. it all ends up in one big argument!! i suppose i'm to stubborn.... you can't blame me though, after all.. i am god. |

Tortoises dont care much for company
They have the pack mentality of " i can batter you so dont get in my way " |
