what do you do at this time of year or autumm do you bring him into the house as theres still frosts at night, mine are out but their shed is heated and they can only hibernate for so long.

have been searching all day the last couple of days
for a large adult tortoise or rehoming
all advice appreciated

have you tried getting in touch with the TT or Tortoise Protection Group they do rehoming as does Henry Flash on here, preloved, gumtree, freeadds etc they all have reptile sections, unless you've tried them already, you might have to wait a while as some of the adults may still be hibernating.
