Pinky will hopefully be one of the features on a programe about Chester zoo in October on Channel 5 , you will learn all about his care then so hope you all tune in ,

Sandy strangely baby flamingos do look rather Dodoish, in a few weeks the resemblance will be even more similar I will keep the thread going as he and his two new companions progress advances

Please remind us a bit nearer the time as I for one would love to see the Zoo, are you going to be in the programme?

Not sure on the dates yet Ann but now it will be October and yes I'm in it of course they didn't have to ask me twice ,we have done or are doing a feature on the flamingo groups and how the rain has been not only a huge problem but also a blessing as it has triggered of a mass laying in the Chilean flamingos,

Its set all round the zoo so even though filming is taking up so much of are days only small snippits will be edited into the programme

There is a possibilty (but only a small one as most storys have now started)they will film at my house regarding the Dillos so if all goes well i might be able to plug SW
