Sorry to hear your tortoise has run away from home.
Have you had any luck finding him / her? Ade

How sad, have you tried putting an appeal on the local radio station or in the local paper?
Just a thought. Ade

Have you tried posting a flyer through doors of the houses in the roads close to you? someone may have seen your tort as they were walking through your road and just picked it up.
We often get flyers through the door about rabbits and cats who have wandered. Your tort may have wandered into someones garage or shed and they have not noticed. The local police will know numbers of any local 'rescues' that may not have a number in the phone book. On the wirral we have a number of little animal rescues, some of which are just elderly ladies who take in strays. Hope you find your little tortoise friend soon. |

I lost one a few years back it was AWFUL, he turned up the next day in my neighbours garden !!
I am sure if you tell enough people he will show up !! Its always good also to tell eveyone he is sick and needs to have medication or it will die - Nobody wants a sick torotise - so you will increase your chances of getting it back if someone finds it and thinks they will keep it !! Dazza |

That is an excellent idea. Also, you can invite as many friends as you can, and you and your friends ask your neighbours if you could have a look at their gardens. The more gardens you can search the better. Sometimes it is better when someone else is looking for our pet, as we can be too stressed to concentrate well. Also, you can put lots of her favourite food in the middle of your garden and always have an eye there.
Best of luck!
