I've had a frantic neighbour on my doorstep today, as her tortoise had gone missing.
We found him

Taken alot of time, and a long boring story, but we've found him and he's home

As a precaution, I've taken these pictures of him - owner says he is a male Graeca, @20 years old (born 1991).. agreed? (I have seen paperwork)..

So pleased George was found. He looks fabulous and none the worse for wear after his adventure.

Neighbour was so worried whether the new window cleaner had taken him - George was in the garden at 2pm this afternoon when she visited her hubby in hostpital, then missing on her return at 5pm. With her huby being poorly and no George to greet her, I think it just really upset her.
I am just so glad we found him - and we both feel dreadful for even thinking bad of the new window cleaner.
He's now secure in his garden, munching on his supper.

He's same as Bill then?
He's a similar size - but shell much more bumpy than Bill's (which is thankfully smooth).
Bill is Mr LoveGod in a shell.. and the testosterone's pinging about my garden like you'd not believe!! Seperating them all (Bill, Sid and Ben) and giving them quality care they deserve is more wearing than caring for the 4 dogs and 9 cats...

Neighbour has said that if/when the need arrives, she would want me to take George on..
..that'll be 5 males of different species to contend with.. ohh what fun *snort*!
