The rise and fall of temperatures
it is no good when we have mild winters because 4 degrees now feels like the artic circle here.
it was - 3.2'c in the greenhouse last night. lowest it has been here. Bet Scotland had lower !

We had -6c near us in Gravesend last night!!
Not that Munster would have known, he's been flopped out under his heat lamp at 32c.

went into Wiltshire Monday Suze, blooming cold and lots of tractors ! -3.8 in greenhouse today, but -6'c for Mark , that is pretty dam cold especially if sustained.
I did four waterbottles last night (I know im a wimpy cold southerner), good book, some chocolates, (dry January dam it), it was absolutely bliss, CB

-6 here last night in Hampshire. Typical I had to go to work very early. Shower would not work, so wonder if pump in loft had frozen, but ok now. Not used to having a bath at 6am. Had trouble opening the car door and the gate to get out. We are just not used to this.

21 !! in the greenhouse. this is nuts. I've left natural hibernating alone but weighed ones boxed up and lost between 2 and 5 grammes. Papa un has put on 2 grammes..typical of him as he was almost last to bed after traipsing around the leaf fall.

I was in London today and sun shone for a while and I had to take my coat off. Sadly no weeds around to bring home, but then perhaps the impact of the fumes would not be very healthy!
