Been busy when you were away!

Well, I have been busy whilst Shelled Warriors was unavailable. I was still looking for a tortoise I think when I last posted. Well, meet Sparky. 'He' is fabulous and love him to bits

In fact, I am so obsessed ... meet Charlie too!

Hello Sparky and Charlie! Love their little house. I think there might be one of them kicking about in my daughters bedroom. I may have to pinch it.

No, I only intended getting one but, as we all know, they are fascinating and addictive so couldn't help myself, especially when a friend built me an enclosure 4ft x 4ft and there was so much room - well, that is my excuse!
However, they both came from the same clutch of eggs so I was lucky - just have to wait a few years to make sure they continue to get on!

Oh yes, you must utilise such a great house to its fullo potential - they love it! I was going to put a ramp up to the top level for them but it is a tad steep - and I'm not 'handy' enough to do so! So I stuck some lollypop sticks on like a barn door - which is as arty as I get!

Awww, I cam e back today after being out and they were in the plant/play area (as I call it!) and it looked just like Charlie was giving Sparky a cuddle!
