Default zig zag clover

hi is zig zag clover ok for torts to eat

its a great name for a plant and perhaps a tort or two

I'm pretty sure izig zag clover (trifolium medium) is OK, as it's similar to red clover, and water voles and other animals eat it. But Piglet might have more information.

All clovers are highly palatable to tortoises as said before clovers ,vetches and trefoils make up 60% of most mediterranean tortoise diets.
Linda i find red foots love fresh red clover flowers i think the sweet scent of nectar draws them to it

THANK YOU very much ...

i am making notes all about the weeds i am learning about

when my hubbie brought this zig zag clover back from the dog walk i sort of new it would be ok but i still needed to check

best to ask before ... rather then after giving it to the torts

actually i rather like the look of ths weed

nice name

nice looking plant

and above all it is really growing in abundance in our local woods

thanks again but do not tell veebee she will be after my patch
