What about mint? And chives? I've just bought a new house and discovered these in the garden today!

Mint too pungent smelling, don't bother eating it, chives pos the same and it's classed as a bulb plant, not fed.

Can't remember seeing about the flower's. Mine eat/nibble the young shoot's and i think leave it alone.

The snails and slugs in my garden love them. I plant hosta for the snails then they leave everything else alone,
Good way of keeping snails/slugs off everything else xx

Mine hasn't got holes it's completely demolished, just the stem left. Got to plant another one for those pesky snails,
