Wow - thanks for all the replies everyone. As there seems to be some confusion I think I'll stick to the petals.

Oh by the way, I've had an email newsletter from Lidl today and they have Geraniums in stock for £1.99 a pot (or 2 for £3).

Really, I was in there today and didnt see any. Boo must have sold before I got there.

that's because the offer starts on thursday http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/l...ndex_21127.htm however they are pelargoniums not true geraniums and I can't remember if those are edible, I kind of think they aren't but could be wrong

If anyone is near a Wilkinsons they have Grape vines in Black and Green grape varieties and they are £4.98 each. As the leaves are edible and they have leaves for a long part of the year they are worth buying just to feed the torts in my opinion. Great for greenhouses if you have a large Greenhouse
