Default A little sad

I am sorry I haven't been on for a while. My Mum passed away 3 weeks ago, to join my Dad. She had dementia which must be one of the most dreadful of conditions. Anyway she is on a pedalo in heaven with Dad now, Nan and 3 of her dogs.

Sorry to hear that. My mother died last year and had dementia, it is a terrible disease. My dad died 4 months later and this year has been the worst ever as my daughter in law died 9 weeks ago in her 20's after losing her cancer battle

Clare, I'm so sorry.
I think it's a wonderful way to think of her, reunited with your dad on a pedalo, having lots of lovely laughter once again.
Big gentle hugs for you. xxx

Hugs and kisses clare as you know I'm going through the same with my dad at the moment and I haven't been able to see him as much as he got so worked up about me going in hospital the first time so I have had to not tell him or his partner I have been in twice more as it would tip him over the edge. It's such a horrible thing to have and for others to deal with especially when they start to forget who you are but can remember what they were doing 50 years or so ago so so hard.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your parents and now your young daughter-in-law, Alan. Such awful diseases.
Thoughts to you and your family. x

thank you everyone. And Alan that's awful for you what a year last year then. At least my mum was 90 odd but to lose someone young must be very hard.

Has anyone seen that Ricky Gervias comedy I think its called afterlife. Very poignant.
