Default my turtle rescuecenter/sanctuary

Hi guys i was registered here before it all changed and have only just come back.
I run a turtle and tortoise rescue facility and sanctuary in Bedfordshire and work closely alongside Luton Reptile Rescue ( one of my best mates runs it).
We have over twenty turles with us now comprising of, various subs of maps, yellow bellies, cooters, red ears, musks, black knobs ,african helmeteds and a common snapper.
We also have an ageing pair of marginated tortoises ( which came to us when thier elderly owner of over 30 years died and thier relatives couldnt take them on,
A pair of corn snakes which i hope to breed next year, a water dragon ( another rescue) and a collared lizard.

I am in the process of rearranging my turtle house at the moment as i was going to convert the garage but its rotten so im building racks around the conservatry and hopefully eitherexting the pond next year or building another one.

Hi Lloyd,

Welcome (again) to the forum. Sounds like you have an interesting life! It would be great to see some pictures of your turtles, and I am in deep envy of your pair of marginateds (I think they are such elegant looking tortoises).

hi nina , i have a hectic life working 6 days a week and sorting the animals out when i get home but i love every minuite of it.
I have my 7 year old daughter to help and my wife too.
My wife has claimed the marginateds ( she fell in love with them when i walked in the door with them).
I will get some pics sorted soon but i also have to sort my pc as it doesnt have enough ports to plug in my camera.

Default Herman Tortoise

Hi - would you be able to re-home a Herman Tortoise? We recently got a pair (but they don't get on well) we can only keep one safely. Thanks
