My menagerie, past and present
My Benji (Boo!) thinks he's a puppy, rolling over to have his tummy tickled
Baby Charlie and Super Jack, I woof-sit Jack while my mum watches Charlie if our friend Louise has to go out (the only dog that has sleep overs in Durham lol) Fish the betta. He died last week :'-( his pet Boing the cory is still going strong though. We lost Lady, his gf, a few months ago. I wont be getting any more fish now until I've moved house - Andrew loves them too so we'll have a few shoals... lol Samba, my first loaned horse. A total sweetie with me, a swine (to be polite) to everyone else, including his real mum! Mai Tai ("Penny" daft name, didn't suit her!) I had her on loan after Sam's mum came back from Canada. She was 4, had been broken in two weeks and was a total angel as long as motorbikes weren't around Sadly, I couldn't afford her and uni so my friend owns her now as a companion for her gelding. My mum's cat, Harry, stoned on his catnip chocolates lol we had his brother too but he got stolen my mum is keeping my Boo now so they keep each other company The Girlies are outdoor cats, they were semi-feral when we adopted them. They now love to be brushed and stroked and are quite happy for people to do anything with them as long as all four paws remain firmly on the ground! Freya Leto (look at that scowl! "U iz blocking my rayz!" That's all I have uploaded. I've also had two frogs, geese, a tupp, a rabbit and The Mice. There's always room in our family for more critters. Especially as I only have Boing now - Benji's staying with the other cats Ajay xxx

Brillaint pictures
My cats love those catnip treats too; they go bonkers over them! Do you have any pictures of your frogs? I tried keeping them when I was at school, but the big one eat all the others, and then escaped! Treacle x |

Thank you all
I don't think I do :-/ I'll look though. I had a reddish one and a LIME green one lol My mum used to work at Durham university and she went round telling the students they passed the module without doing dissection so none of them showed up - I got to rehome all the frogs they'd bought in. I kept the two until my gran (who we lived with at the time) politely said the crickets had to go! lol so I released the frogs into the pond, they bred despite the koi and now their garden's teeming with frogs of all colours and sizes I doubt it was a sensible move but I was probably about 8/9 and I know the green one, Gafrosche, is still there.. Cool, at least you still get to see them, I have no idea where my poor Jumpy ended up! (I was also about 8!).
I'd love a pond with Frogs, but I've been banned from getting any more animals! If my husband would allow it I would probably have a fairly large personal petting zoo by now! Treacle x |

Yeah. My Grandparents don't even have the pond anymore but the frogs are still there and still breeding! They spawn in our neighbours pond and as he knows they're ours he leaves them be, they come back to the damp areas behind the greenhouse and under the clematis collection.
I swear my man thought the only animals in existence were cows, sheep and border collies until he met me - I blame his Yorkshire farmer's son countryside upbringing! He's now as mad on animals as I am - Boo and Harry love him, he's a bit big and scary for the girlies though, most men are. The only other animal I've seen him interact with was a ewe at lambing time - I have smaller hands so pull the lambs and he has fireman arms so holds the ewes lol He's planning as much of a zoo as I am, I'm a lucky girl lol Ajay xxx
