How Embarassing
Today, on the way to pick my son up from school, I bumped into a friend who was carrying two scooters for her sons to ride home.
Being the kind soul that I am I offered to take one of them for her. It wasn't long before we were having a race to see who could get to school first Along the pavement we sped, down a steep slope toward the playground. Cheered on by several other parents, I decided to cut her up and snatch the victory I felt was rightly mine I hit a stone, went flying through the air, and splashlanded in a very undignified manner in a big muddy puddle. This may have gone relatively unnoticed if it wasn't for my friend screaming " OH MY GOD!! ARE YOU OK????" At which the whole school turned round and stared at me flailing about in said puddle, like a, manic upturned hippopotamus on speed I am 41, my friend is 43 ops: |

Fantastic. You should go down very well in the reception and pre school Classes. As "Peppa pig" and her family say: We all like jumping in Muddy Puddles!
Now you might ask, what an old man like me knows about "Peppa pig", but I too have a Grand daughter and we both like jumping in Muddy puddles!! Here is a little cartoon of my little apprentice: Last edited by Geomyda; 19-01-2009 at 08:37 PM. |
