Default must be mad

well just had a call from my sister i law whos friend has a slider they no longer want, yes you guessed it i must be a sucker .Well im going to collect him in about 20 min just set a quarentine tank up and hopefully all being well he will join my sliders in the pool next year.I do now he has a few shell problems (accidently was dropped)so have rung vets and gonna fit me in tomorrow but said im more than welcome to come this evening if damage needs urgent attention.so as soon as hes settled im gonna post photos,so much easier taking photos when there in a tank unlike the ones in the pool so wish me luck

went to collect her and she decided to go out and leave me a note so wasnt pleased, well she finaly delivered her tonight her shell is fine no damage but she does have a bit of shell rot cleaned her up with betadine and let her bask under a lamp till she dried, she was delivered in a 3 foot tank with less than an inch of water the smell was terrible, shes now in a larger tank but ive only put 12 inches of water as she has never swam before and didnt wanna put her in the deep end so to speak, she has a basking area and also now a uv which she never had,of to vets tom and will post some photos gonna let her settle in a bit before i weigh and measuer her but she is large for 2 years old her main diet was dried shrimp and prawns so need to get that sorted out thanks for your replies
