Default stones in indoor enclosures?

just read the benefits and problems that eating stones can have for torts

does anybody put stones in the indoor enclosures ( not those used for ornamentation or shade) but so the tort can choose to eat some /

Generally not, since too much can cause an impaction, or cause damage 'on the way out' which isn't pretty.

Hi Linda
I wouldn't add stones to an enclosure they will find what they need when allowed out side
