ironic thing, some candidates whom have completed this course, await the formal certificate for their C V. I guess, that some prospective employers or academic institutions consider this qualification highly?

Yeah, I'm not sure - in fact I've no idea TBH what it entails but at the very least I expect it could be the difference between getting or not getting a job in a pet store for example or perhaps an animal related job on a local council etc

recent quote from a frustrated "online course" participant:
"I am a resident of Ontario, Canada and work as a biologist in the field (with native freshwater turtles) this certificate was not only for personal knowledge but for my resume... not to mention I started the course three years ago!! I'm honestly just very tired of having to exhaust all resources for answers".
The situation evident in this and numerous other forum posts and correspondences is frankly shameful!

I usually find that by pestering people on a daily basis, they get fed up and give in just to get rid of me. I've used this tactic with medical secretaries, stores, etc. I know that it sounds awful and perhaps this won't be effective if you can't call, but if everyone was able to do it daily, that would be a fair few calls and a fair few people pestering daily and surely it would be easier and simpler for the admins to just send out the certificates to put an end to it.
You may already have tried this of course, but it's just a thought....

Perhaps, there should an award given to organisations whom demonstrate such tardy attitudes to administration?
I am sure that a certificate could be knocked up and presented as an annual award. The winner for the 2011; NAF- No Admin follow up is ??
