Here's a quick edible plant list for new owners
As you'd expect, every week new owners come on asking about edible weeds and plants and there are many lists. However this one is more a list of garden type plants rather than weeds and is handy for new owners who struggle to ID weeds to begin with. The garden plants at least have the names on them in garden centres (not so much in supermarkets and homebase and B+Q where it's often just common names) so you know what they are. Handy for taking with you when being hauled round garden centres on a Sunday
