Tortoise theft in Kent
22 September 2010 - Thieves stole a pair of tortoises from a garden shed during a crime spree in a Kent village.
The 30-year-old animals, belonging to a 78-year-old woman, were taken from a shed in Woodchurch Road, Shadoxhurst. Officers have advised residents to be "extra security conscious" following the eight thefts in the early hours of Monday. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-11388314
