well in the old days they did I believe, and perhaps they come across each other in the wild? on a small off chance travelling miles..... but Ibera are heavier, and bigger than TGG as I understand it with tough shells and different behaviour / 'attitude'. Having one boy Ibera I would never put him with my TGG girlie, she can be vicious if grumpy mood but I think he would eat her and is always trying to escape like crazy. But I am not an expert so will as always bow to others with greater knowledge - I say no unless grown up together over the years , existing as a couple..... CB

ok so the story so far i need to wait until Wednesday as theres a lady going to view the tortoise and the owner will let me know what she decides so im not getting my hopes up really, thought my 3 years of looking was almost at an end lol xx

Keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you. I had a long search for a female herc, but finally got her this year. I managed to buy and rehome a fair few female THB's during my search but when you want something specific, it's really special to find one. I hope it all works out for you.
