What am I seeing?

Have taken some new pictures of my eggs which were laid 27th June (makes them day 8)

They have continued to chalk over and I have strange shapes appearing on them all, although it could be my imagination

i would love to know what I am looking at. Can anyone who is more knowledgable take a look please?

You are seeing what is called "the ring of life"

So everything is going as it should.

Thanks Danny. I have read about that in other threads but for some reason I thought it would be bigger. So does the embryo develop in the middle of that?

Yes

as it already is. Right now it shows up as a line through the middle of the ring.
